How to Use

When: Morning and night · Step 1 of Tamra's routine

Scoop a small amount and apply to dry skin.
Gently massage over the face to dissolve makeup (even waterproof), sunscreen and impurities.
Add lukewarm water and keep massaging—the balm transforms into a light milk.
Rinse thoroughly, or remove with a warm, clean washcloth.
No need to double cleanse. Follow with the Bakuchiol-Immortelle Blend.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes.

How It Removes Impurities & Makeup

Dissolving Phase (Oil Cleansing): The substantial oil and lipid content work to dissolve oil-based impurities on the skin. This includes your skin's own excess sebum, silicones and pigments found in makeup (even long-wear and waterproof formulas), residues from sunscreen, as well as dirt. It permeates and pulls impurities from the pores.

Emulsifying Phase (Rinse-Off): This is the "magic" of the balm. The emulsifiers are molecules that have a "head" that loves water and a "tail" that loves oil. As soon as water is applied, these emulsifiers surround the oil droplets (which now contain all the dissolved makeup and dirt), mix with the water and then rinse away, preventing a greasy or heavy film from being left behind. Your skin is left clean, its natural microbiome intact, and no need for a second cleanse.
